BMW E46s are cars with a well-known problem:
the fixing points of the rear undercarriage can crack or tear over time, especially on vehicles that have been modified or used in a sporting manner.
This has led to these cars being withdrawn from the road for obvious safety reasons.
But it is possible to repair and strengthen this weak point by welding these reinforcement plates around the rear cradle anchors.
