Technical consultancy:

As a general rule, when crimping a terminal onto a wire, we always recommend soldering it with tin in addition to crimping.

This provides much better electrical conductivity, but also better mechanical strength. In the event of tension, the wires won’t pull out of the terminals.

For foolproof insulation, opt for heat-shrink tubing to cover your crimp + solder.
