The 50 mm version is quicker to fit and provides wider coverage. Supplied with 10 stainless steel collars.

This high-temperature thermal insulation tape is designed to limit radiant heat from exhaust components, in order to :

• reduce heating of the engine compartment

• protect hoses, wiring harnesses and sensitive parts close to the line

• improve reliability in extreme conditions (turbo, track, drift).

Its thick fibreglass weave provides excellent thermal insulation, while offering very good mechanical strength once fitted.

✅ Advantage of 50 mm width:
The wider strip covers more surface area with each turn, allowing:

• faster installation
• a more uniform finish on large diameters
• improved insulation in critical areas

✅ Important installation tip:
Due to its thick weave, it is recommended to wet the tape before installation.
➡️ The fabric becomes more flexible, easier to roll up and cleaner to lay on the tubes.

For a competition finish, you can also secure the winding with :

• twisted wire
• or our braking wire kit (recommended)

With a resistance of up to +1300°C, this tape is also widely used in industry to insulate tubing and highly radiant parts.
