Discount Autosport’s ultra-high-temperature thermal protection is the most effective method known to date for insulating exhausts and other areas highly exposed to heat.

The kit consists of two complementary layers:

1️⃣ A self-adhesive ceramic sheet (1 mm), to be stuck directly onto the exhaust, which forms the main thermal insulation.
2️⃣ A sheet of embossed stainless steel (0.12 mm), which wraps around the ceramic to create a hermetic, robust and durable thermal insulation.

This system retains a maximum amount of heat inside the exhaust, improving engine efficiency (hotter manifold = higher gas velocity), while effectively protecting the engine compartment, floor and surrounding sensitive components.

To be welded using our portable spot welder.

🔧 Installation method (recommendations)

1️⃣ Thoroughly clean the exhaust
2️⃣ Stick on a single layer of self-adhesive ceramic

4️⃣ Allow an overlap of approximately 1 cm
5️⃣ Stainless steel must be welded for reliable, long-lasting assembly
